Never have I ever come across such a graphic 1920's jacket, in this good of condition!
This incredible 1920's jacket is made of a light to medium weight woven silk (?) or rayon fabric. This fabric features a super graphic Art Deco stylized print of triangles of different colors, framed out, and juxtaposed in varying rows. The navy and white ground colored rows offset the framed out triangles with their red, blue, and green centers. And this glorious pattern is created all within the weave! (Wrong side of fabric does not feature the colored centers) This jacket has extra wide and stylized lapels, plus little patch pockets made up of reversed & cut self-fabric. The neckline, center front, cuffs and pocket edges are all finished with a navy blue silk fabric. Classic micro darting at center back neckline (very 20's-30's detail). Jacket is unlined, and has a center front metal hook & eye closure. Unfortunately, no labels or maker's marks remain, but if you'd like to know the provenance, or a little story behind how I found this jacket, please feel free to contact me. Overall condition is excellent to new mint, with replace fabric at back neckline and cuffs, and around hook & eye closure for reinforcement. No flaws or other signs of wear to note! Please review all photographs for full details.
