Wrap yourself in luxurious drama, a la Film Noir, in this vintage, late 1930's fur coat...
This is positively the softest fur I have ever felt in my life! A beautiful example of what I've been tole is Mole fur. The pile of the fur on this coat actually run from bottom to top, so you run your hands up and over the fur to enjoy its velvet touch! To make this gorgeous coat even finer, it has been lined in an Asian-themed heavy silk brocade fabric with rippled satin edging. Coat features a stand-up style collar, dramatically 'built' domed shoulder shape, hidden front pockets and turned style cuffs. The lining at the inside cuffs is elasticized to help further keep out the cold (elastic is in great shape, still super stretchy and will not need replacement!). Inside of coat also has sash tie security and outer coat has two craved round button and loop closure. Overall condition is excellent, near mint condition with one of the buttons missing and wear to the rippled satin edging (near back neck).
This coat was evaluated by the wonderful people at Madison Avenue Furs, Ltd. Henry Cowit, Inc. I highly recommend them for any fur repair, storage, matching/restyling, evaluation, etc.
