Stand out and make a -gentle- statement, with this sweet rainbow pastel silk dress by Zac Posen...
This dress was is made of a lightweight and soft woven silk fabric, featuring a check pattern with a gorgeous pastel rainbow color palette. The top or bodice of the dress is actually two separate layers, with a sort of camisole built inside, which has a triangular halter front design, and racer back peek-a-boo back design. The front and back panels are cut on the bias, and the center front feature a button & loop closure detail, while the sleeves have the most magnificent little secret: the button & loop decoration along the shoulder line, actually make it a convertible dress, wherein the sleeves are completely removable. But, should you decide to keep them on, you may also decide between leaving them loose and fluttering, or button them closed at the cuff to create a pseudo-kimono style sleeve. The other little adjustment that may be made, is to partially un-button the outer layer of the bodice, revealing the interior layer (see final pic). The main dress closure is an invisible zipper set in at the left side seam, plus a shell button & loop closure for that bodice lining/camisole mentioned above. The four panel skirt is also bias-cut, a-line, is unlined, and has great movement. This really is an exceptional dress! The overall condition is excellent, with one small repair to the fabric at the left side seam, next to zipper and another repair to fabric at right side, just under sleeve -not noticeable, but please review photographs for full details. Labels read, 'Zac Posen, size 2' and '100% silk, made on Manhattan Isle, professionally dry clean only' (I hand washed with Woolite).
Please note: dress did not fit completely on the dress form/mannequin and there is some slight asymmetry due to the incorrect fit
