Sometimes when H+M does stuff, they get it right...
One of their most popular pieces from this line, this skirt is dynamic and fresh, and actually very well-made. In February of 2013, H&M wanted to prove that they were still more than just Fast Fashion, and attended the 2013 Paris Fashion Week -to much praise. This skirt originally retailed in 2013 for over $200! This isn't your run-of-the-mill H&M garment. The reticulated (cut-away) pattern was laser cut into the thick, heavyweight woven wool fabric. A leafy-floral pattern is also revealed, in a masterfully top-stitched thin black cord design, on the surface. The high waist band is wide and also features this top-stitched cord design. Waist closes via three sets of heavy duty (thread-wrapped) hook + eyes, while the upper half of side seam closes via snaps (which are sewn onto their own fabric bases -another sign of high quality craftsmanship). Unlined. The overall condition is excellent to like new, with little to no signs of wear -one hook has been moved slightly from original position. Label reads 'H&M Autumn Collection 2013, size Small, Made in India.'
