The first time I saw this jacket, I couldn't help but think 'The Nanny!!'...
Although its no Moschino, I do feel like this jacket might be right at home on Fran Drescher's (Fran Fine as The Nanny) mother -the brilliant costuming on the show definitely shows that the style apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Any way, this is a wonderfully vibrant lightweight jacket, made from a silk and/or rayon blend fabric with a light texture. This jacket features mixed prints of large scale check, in fruity raspberry, strawberry and orange colors, struck through with dark lime grey and white. Then, a contrast black and white houndstooth print is utilized at the collar, cuffs, hem and pocket flaps. As if that wasn't enough fun and whimsy, different black and white plastic buttons adorn the cuffs and pocket flaps. Lined with a lightweight self-fabric in magenta, this jacket has a nylon zipper closure, and very light shoulder padding. There are no labels present, so no clues as to who made this, it's possibly one-of-a-kind. The overall condition is near mint, with little to no signs of wear and no flaws to note! Please review photographs for full details.
