Keep it classic, with this ballet-core, dancer-inspired little black dress by Betsey Johnson, circa 1980's!
Under what is now known as Betsey Johnson's "Punk label", from circa 1980's, comes this fun version of a little black dress. Somewhat inspired by dancers, and featuring a 50's style silhouette, this diverse dress can definitely go from day to night. It is made of a medium weight black, super soft, 100% cotton jersey knit fabric. It has a mock neck neckline, full length fitted sleeves, and a relaxed and comfortable fit. The flared skirt was made up of multiple panels and features a self-fabric finished hem edge (adds some weight to the skirt to it from flaring up), which is echoed again at the cuffs. There are fairly prominent shoulder pads, but no lining, pockets or other details to note. The overall condition is good, with some notable signs of wear; mild discoloration throughout dress (could possibly be overdid, or even worn in reverse, so that the discolored side was at back) and some light stress to certain seams. Please review photographs for full details. Labels read 'Betsey Johnson, size M' and '100% cotton, machine wash cool, tumble dry low, made in U.S.A.'.
