1980's-1990's FULLY BEADED & SEQUIN black & silver open-back dress size 2/4P

This fabulous little number is begging to go out dancing! The beaded fringe at sleeves and hem enhances movements, while the fully beaded & sequined silk shell catches the light beautifully. And, just wait until you turn around to reveal that open back -gasp! The incredible design, in all silver and black; seed beads, bugle beads, roundels and sequins, is reminiscent of Art Deco design. There seem to be letters throughout the upper area of the design but I've never concluded that they actually spell anything. The lower skirt area has a more Baroque style, with Fleur de Lis style shapes and scrolling. This dress does have a lightweight acetate lining and light shoulder padding for structure. The back features a hook & eye closure at back neck, and zipper closure at center back, along with a kick split at skirt hem. Labels read 'SWEELO' and 'made in India, Petite size 2/4, Silk shell & acetate lining, dry clean only'. The overall condition is very good, with some repairs to the silk shell at seams, and some beading & sequins missing throughout (none noticeable, with exception to missing fringes at hem).
