Some subtle Victorian style details date this classic sweater dress to late 1970's...
This fun and flirty little knit dress has a funky horizontal stripe pattern in dual purples and black. It has an all-over fitted silhouette, with some slight flare in the skirt. The full length sleeves feature a Gigot style, with a slight puff at the shoulders and fitted cuffs. The neckline has a wide style turtleneck, which sort of cowls down, and the waist is extra fitted, with an elastic band. Knit is light to medium weight, most likely acrylic or a synthetic blend, but very soft to the hand. Unlined, without pockets or any other design details to note. Only label reads 'Size 9 (Juniors), Machine washable'. Overall condition is excellent to very good, with very mild pilling throughout and one tiny darned hole repair to back lower skirt (unnoticeable), as well as a tiny rust color stain near the hem (see final pic).
