Cause a stir and turn heads with this conversation-starting headwear by Leslie James...
This vintage 1960's hat is a truly special, Museum-worthy piece. An iconic style of the era that leapt into mainstream fashion from the 'Youthquake' movement. It has a dramatic bucket shape created from a silver-on-black woven reed or straw type material. And as if that wasn't enough, an enormous black grosgrain ribbon bow accents (and covers!) almost half of it. The inside has a really amazing structure with a separate orange silk brim, allowing it to sit atop the head (with most likely an up-do underneath). The interior is also lined with a black net (so hair doesn't snag). Truly exceptional. Overall condition is near mint and would be considered mint were it not for a few stray straw hairs throughout and one pinhead-sized rust color stain at left side. Hat comes with what I believe is the original box, in very good condition. Please see photographs for full details. Labels simply reads 'Leslie James'.
