Show off your inner wild child, with your outer style, in this vivid wool suit set by Kelita...
This incredible set, from the late 1960's to early 70's, just screams Mod kids on Carnaby Street (to me)! Kelita seems to be an American fashion label, and this suit came from a New York City artist who used to frequent my shop, I wore it for many years and now it's ready for a new home. The blazer style jacket has short (Junior's or Petites sized) sleeves which are fun to roll up and show a flash of the matching, mustard yellow lining. Lapels are small and rounded, for a feminized look, and the center front features three large round yellow knob buttons. The skirt is pleated, school girl style, and unlined, with a metal zipper and hook + eye closure. The fabric of both pieces is a medium to heavy weight woven wool, in mustard yellow, with red and blue broken vertical stripes. Sorry, no functional pockets. Only labels read 'Kelita' and there is a Union label (I.L.G.W.U.). Overall condition is excellent to near mint, with two small darn repairs (one at skirt, one at jacket) and minimal signs of wear, no other flaws to note!
