1950’s one of a kind homemade cotton ditsy print 2-pc halter top and circle skirt set

This fantastic summer set comes in a lightweight woven cotton with a fabulous Ditsy print featuring yellow, pink and baby blue flowers, with green stem and leaf touches, on a grey ground color. The bodice (top) and waist line of skirt are lined with a sunny yellow lightweight cotton fabric that highlights the little yellow flowers in the print! The bodice is lightly boned with thin steel boning and has a princess style cut for the ultimate fit. The neckline is halter style with keyhole at center front -a self-fabric piping tie is utilized at both these spots. Skirt is super full and unlined (most likely meant for a thin crinoline underneath) and features a FULL/TRUE circle skirt cut. An exaggeratedly long and full matching sash ties are found at either side of waist (tie toward the front for patterned side, or toward the back to highlight the sunny yellow lining) and one hidden hip pocket at right side. Left side of skirt has metal zipper and double hook + eye closure, and bodice has a center back metal zipper closure. Overall condition is excellent to very good, with some mild sun damage and discoloration to skirt and sash fabrics and some lightening to print at underarm areas (please see last two pics for details). No label present, as this is most likely a homemade set, making it one-of-a-kind!!
