Look perfectly presentable, in this beautifully-made, tailored 40's blazer suit style jacket!
This nearly pristine jacket comes in a heavy weight wool weave, in tan-beige hue. An iconic example of 1940's style, this blazer has a well-fitted silhouette, achieved through a masterful cut and seaming. The collar has a rounded, yet angular lapel and the full length sleeves have upturned cuffs. Two mock pockets adorn either hip, and the center front closure, as well as these mock pockets, have been flourished with brown mother-of-pearl style buttons (they are plastic). The interior is lined with a textured rayon or acetate fabric, in caramel color. This jacket is in overall near mint condition, with the exterior being in immaculately mint condition. Interior had some damage to the underarm areas, so I repurposed a 30's rayon fabric, and patched these areas, plus light discoloration to lining at neck area. Please see photographs for full details. Label reads 'National Recovery Board, Coat and Suit Industry (1935 copyright)'.
